Installs drivers and software for Data Translation's USB and PCI data acquisition products. Includes the following components:
Device Drivers – Both 32-bit and 64-bit drivers are available. These drivers support Data Translation PCI and USB boards under Windows 10 (32-bit and 64-bit), Windows 8 (32-bit and 64-bit), Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit), Windows Vista (32-bit and 64-bit), and Windows XP (32-bit only). The installation program automatically installs the appropriate driver for your operating system.
User Manuals – All Data Translation USB and PCI data acquisition user manuals are installed. (Exception: OEM Install does not include user manuals and example programs)
QuickDAQ – QuickDAQ allows you to acquire and display from all Data Translation USB and Ethernet data acquisition devices that support analog input streaming. Combine QuickDAQ with Data Translation hardware to acquire data, record data to disk, display the results in both a plot and digital display, and read a recorded data file. Data can be exported to other applications like Microsoft Excel¢ç and The Mathworks MATLAB¢ç for more advanced analysis.Two additional options can be purchased to add FFT analysis capabilities to the base package.
DT-Open Layers for .NET Class Library – Native .NET set of object-oriented classes for programming Data Translation's data acquisition devices. Any language that conforms to the Common Language Specification (CLS) can be used, including: Visual Basic.NET, Visual C#, Visual C++ .NET with managed extensions, and Visual J#.NET.
DT-Display for .NET is a control for plotting data to a Windows form. It provides a powerful and user-friendly interface for rendering data.
DT-Open Layers for Win32 (DataAcq SDK) – DT-Open Layers for Win32 consists of the DataAcq SDK and DTx-EZ. The DataAcq SDK consists of the necessary header files, libraries, example programs, and documentation to develop your own DT-Open Layers data acquisition and control applications. The native 32-bit libraries are supported in Windows 10 (32-bit and 64-bit), Windows 8 (32-bit and 64-bit), Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit), Windows Vista (32-bit and 64-bit), and Windows XP (32-bit only). It is intended for use with non .NET languages, such as ANSI C, Visual C++ 6.0, and Visual Basic 6.0.
DTx-EZ provides visual programming tools for Microsoft Visual Basic and Visual C++ that enable quick and easy development of test and measurement applications.
Note: If you have an existing application that was written using the DataAcq SDK, we recommend that you migrate your application to use the DT-Open Layers for .NET Class Library. This will guarantee compatibility with future Data Translation hardware and software.
Installs the DT-Open Layers Device drivers, DT-Open Layers for .NET Class Library, Data Acq SDK, DTx-EZ, and all the supporting documentation. Using this software, a programmer can develop an application for DT-Open Layers compatible devices. Note: you must first install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 before performing this installation. This installation includes QuickDAQ.
For OEM users, silently installs the DT-Open Layers Device drivers, DT-Open Layers for .NET Class Library, Data Acq SDK, and DTx-EZ software. Documentation, example programs, and QuickDAQ are not installed.
DAQ Adaptor for MATLAB The DAQ Adaptor for MATLAB is a software interface tool that allows MATLAB(R) users direct access to Data Translation analog and digital I/O hardware for data acquisition and analysis applications. DT-Open Layers interfaces with the MATLAB Data Acquisition Toolbox. Data Translation data acquisition devices must use the 32-bit version of Data Acquisition Toolbox and MATLAB. The 32-bit versions of Data Acquisition Toolbox and MATLAB can be installed on a 64-bit Windows OS.
LV-Link Software Interface for LabVIEW Installs all necessary VIs to use the Data Translation hardware in LabVIEW¢ç 8. Setup will also install a set of example VIs to use in LabVIEW. LV-Link 3 for use with LabVIEW 8.5.1 or greater for 32-bit support, or LabVIEW 2009 or higher for 64-bit or 32-bit support.
